OUR VISION

At Mosstower Studios, our vision is to build a creative studio that empowers people to connect with their inner creativity & find joy in expressing their unique perspectives and styles.

OUR VALUES

  • Our goal is to source as many materials as possible from fair trade and eco-conscious suppliers. While we have lots of room for improvement, we currently:

    • handcraft recycled beads and pendants from plastic collected from our local community (which would likely have ended up in a landfill)

incorporate thrifted, upcycled, and reimagined materials into most of our earring designs

    • use recyclable and repurposed packaging when sending out orders; we source eco-friendly packaging from EcoEnclose and Packing Penguins

    • purchase Green Cast recycled acrylic from MakerStock

    • buy most of our studio and craft-fair decor second-hand

    • order our custom stickers from Sticky Brand, who prints with Greenguard gold certified, eco-solvent ink, and uses recyclable backing paper

  • We donate 5% of our profits to community organizations who are working to build a better world. Recent donations have supported:

    • Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition, which works to ensure the wellbeing, safety, and lived equity of all trans, nonbinary, and gender expansive people in Massachusetts.

    • Many Lands Mutual Aid, a grassroots aid distribution project that puts donations directly in the hands of displaced Palestinian families in Gaza.

    • 1for3, which supports locally-driven solutions by and for Palestinian refugees around water, food, health, and education.

    • Palestine Children's Relief Fund, which provides medical relief to children in the Middle East.

  • Our goal is to hire at least 50% of our vendors and contractors from BIPOC, immigrant, or LGBTQ+ owned companies. We believe all contractors should be paid a fair, equitable, living wage.

  • We want our earrings to make you feel seen and celebrated, and to empower you to showcase your one-of-a-kind interests, personality, and style.

We strive to include, support, and celebrate customers of all genders, races, body shapes, sizes, skin tones, disabilities, and more - you are all beautiful!

  • At Mosstower, we love collaborating with other artists and entrepreneurs in order to re-invest in our community. Whether that means

    • leading free workshops for local students,

    • mentoring young entrepreneurs,

    • helping with mutual aid fundraising events,

    • or simply collaborating on a joint creative project,

we believe that local grassroots partnerships can test out bold new ideas and push our culture forward in terms of equity and justice.
